RE: PRIVACY & THE HANDLING OF YOUR PARTICULARS

Last updated 22nd October, 2026.

robotsalesmen.ltd ("Robot Salesmen Ltd.", "the robot", "we") is operated by The Eleven Project LLC. This page explains, in plain words, what we collect and what we do with it. Short version: very little, and nothing sinister.

What we collect

If you complete the Requisition coupon: your name (optional), your email address, which field manuals you asked for, the page you signed up from, the date, and your approximate country. We use it to send the field manuals you requested and the occasional dispatch about something worth the trip. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. We never sell or rent your address.

When you click a link to a hotel, tour, the Overby Woods cabin, or our realtor page: we count the click (which link and the date) so we know what's useful. These counts contain no personal information.

Everything else: we don't use advertising trackers, and our own pages don't set cookies.

Who else is involved

The site runs on Cloudflare, which handles security and basic server logs. Email lists and sending are handled by Brevo. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, photographs from Unsplash, map tiles from OpenStreetMap, and weather from Open-Meteo; these services see your IP address when your browser fetches their content.

Affiliate links: some hotel and tour links are affiliate links. The robot may earn a small commission if you book, at no extra cost to you. Hotel links are processed by Stay22, whose script and the booking sites themselves (such as Booking.com or Viator) may use cookies to attribute a booking. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave this site.

Your choices

Unsubscribe any time using the link in any email. To see or delete what we hold about you, write to darren@theelevenproject.com, or by post to The Eleven Project LLC, 111 North Wabash Ave., Suite 100, Chicago, IL 60602, and a human will sort it promptly.

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If this policy changes, we'll update the date above.

Yours mechanically, the Travel Department.
